These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website jknobel.com (the “Website”) and any services provided by J. Knobel Investor Services Limited (hereinafter “J. Knobel”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a Cyprus-registered company acting exclusively as a tied agent of Mega Equity Securities & Financial Services Public Ltd (“Mega Equity”), a Cyprus Investment Firm authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under licence number 011/03.


By accessing this Website or contacting us regarding investment services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Regulatory Status & Tied-Agent Relationship

J. Knobel Investor Services Limited is registered with CySEC as a Tied Agent under registration number 32.

We act exclusively on behalf of and under the full and unconditional responsibility of Mega Equity in accordance with Article 29 of MiFID II and CySEC Directive DI87-06. We are authorized to provide only the following regulated investment services under Mega Equity’s licence:


    • Investment Advice (non-independent)
    • Reception and Transmission of Orders in relation to financial instruments


We do NOT execute orders, hold client money or securities, manage portfolios, or provide any other investment or ancillary service independently.


2. Nature of Services

All investment advice and order transmission are provided exclusively by Mega Equity through us as its tied agent. All client accounts are opened directly with Mega Equity, and the contractual relationship is solely between you and Mega Equity.


3. Risk Disclosure

Investing in financial instruments involves a high degree of risk, including the possible total loss of capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results and should not be the sole factor in making an investment decision. 4. Fees & Inducements

    • Commissions for investment advice and order transmission are charged by Mega Equity (range 0.1 % – 1 % per executed trade, exact rate agreed individually and disclosed ex-ante).
    • J. Knobel receives a rebate of 50 % of the commission actually charged by Mega Equity.
    • An optional fixed €250 Structured Financial Planning Fee (non-contingent, unrelated to any transaction) may be charged directly by J. Knobel for a separate non-MiFID financial planning service. Full details are contained in the Investment Advice Addendum and Mega Equity’s Ex-Ante Costs & Charges Disclosure (Appendix D).


5. Complaints Procedure

We are committed to handling complaints fairly and promptly. Complaints should first be addressed in writing to:info@jknobel.com or +357 22 258790


We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and provide a final response no later than 2 months. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to Mega Equity’s Compliance Department or to the Financial Ombudsman of the Republic of Cyprus (www.financialombudsman.gov.cy).


6. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is processed in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679). Full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your data (including sharing with Mega Equity for regulatory purposes) are set out in our Privacy Policy.


7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties regarding the completeness or suitability of information on this Website. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from the use of this Website or reliance on its content, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.


8. No Offer or Solicitation

Nothing on this Website constitutes a personal recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell financial instruments unless provided under a formal investment advice relationship with Mega Equity.


9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be notified by publication on the Website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus.
